Just had it in for the 5,000 mile service and they said I...  moreI'm the proud owner of a 2010 softail custom. I was wondering how many miles I should get on a set of tires. The rear tire  I blew out at about 3,000 miles so never got to wear it out . Just had it in for the 5,000 mile service and they said I needed a new front tire. So  I got one,same one that came with the bike.Dunlop408 21 inch. I don't ride hard or fast(most of the time anyways) But 5,000 miles and its worn out.They said 2/32 tread depth left.Am I getting reamed or is this normal to be needing new rubber every 5,000?  less

A friend recommended to use the Harley Swirl...  moreThe winshield on my Road King was looking pretty bad... little dings, swirls from cleaning, etc.  I looked into a new windsheld and decided there are a lot of other things I want for that much money. A friend recommended to use the Harley Swirl & Scratch Remover they sell to get the swirls out of the painted parts of the bike.  I figured what the heck, I'll give it a shot.  WOW, my windshield looks brand new... no exageration! Then I went out and used it on the plastic lens covers on my truck headlights which were kind of fogged and old looking... again, they look like new.  less

This post is to all the Old Timmers out there, and by damn you know who you are. I've just experience this and wanted to give you old coots a heads up. Now first of all being over the hill ain't that bad really, I mean the knowledge we have stored up in our brains is un-believeable....even if we have crappy recall, and our six packs we use to sport have turned into pony keg's, and the idea on Sienfelt about man bra's is starting to filter through our foggy minds. Now listen up........ If you get a message on CF from some little Hottie in her 20's first and formost go to the bathroom and look in the mirror, then check your wallet. What in Sam Hill do you think she wants.....your Hot looks or the contents of your wallet. Now hang on there dudes I know there are some really Hot dudes out there in there later years.
