Event Desc

  • The ride celebrates the American Legion's 100 Year Anniversary, so we will ride 100 miles for their honor. The proceeds from this ride help American Legion Post #375 in Southport that was devastated in our last Hurricane rebuild their Post. You can register ahead of the ride at the link provided in the flyer, or give your money at Post #138 the morning of the ride. Legion Post #111 Riders will be organizing the ride.
Ride will be back roads to Mulberry and Lakeland Legion Posts and a stop at a former WWII Airfield (Lodwick) where you will be presented (in front of the WWII Hangers) pictures and a history of Lodwick Airfield. Then we will ride back into Tampa to Legion Post 111, where we will have music and food.
This is an important ride to the Veterans of Southport, please come out and support the Legion in their efforts to reconstruct this post.
