Event Desc

  • Camp Smile-A-Mile is Alabama's program for children with cancer. We provide year round programs to children battling the disease, those who have overcome it, young adult survivors and their families. Our programs include 7 summer camp sessions, weekly activities in Children's of Alabama and other events throughout the year. All proceeds from the ride go directly to support Camp Smile-A-Mile's programs.

The ride is approximately 85 miles one-way and travels along Hwy 119, Hwy 280 and Hwy 63 with one scheduled pit stop. Riders, escorted by Jefferson Co. Sherrifs, will travel from the Barber Motorsports Museum to Lake Martin in Alexander City, where they will be greeted by our excited and energetic campers of weeklong youth camp! Riders will then have the opportunity to eat brunch and visit with the campers, as well as show off their bikes to the kids.

In addition to brunch, each rider will receive a 2016 monkey (Camp SAM's mascot) lapel pin and a special gift made by our campers.
