Memories - A poem

    Memories

As I sit here and think of the past 34 years

When I rode on my 1st Harley and drank so many beers

All the memories flood in like a river overflowing

I still ride today, I am forever growing

Each year I'm alive and think of the past

The memories abound, I hope they will last

Some good, Some bad, Some Happy, Some sad

I am thankful for this life and all that I've had

So I'll ride each day, and look forward to tomorrow

Life is too short to be living in sorrow

Ride Safe and Live Long is the motto I preach

Go out and explore, its all within reach

Hold the Memories close and don't let them slip away

The memories we make, we make every day

When it comes for my time to die, and I leave for that big open road in the sky

Remember the fun and things that were said, and remember the memories, and I'll never be dead

Well put. And that looks like Dante's Inferno. I bet that would hurt (ha)

    Thank you's!
I am wondering, how hard it would be to hold your tongue still and keep it dry. I might try a little one...
