"According to the weather service outlook, the central United States from North Dakota to Texas and east to the Carolinas, excluding parts of the Northeast and Southern Florida, will see excessive heat through July 29."

And I thought California was hot!

Boof, we have that same thing here... it's called winter. The only difference is our winter is in the winter, not the summer!!!

Lucky old mate thats why we moved up here to the tropics..Winter here is lows of about 70 during the day.. but then again we do have a wet season that drops 2 inches of rain in an hour or so..Bugger winter! When i'm rich and famous I'm gonna chase summer all around the world..CHEERS BOOF

Summers are always hot in Florida .. the "feels like" temperature is almost always well above 100 degrees. But I sure do feel for the folks out in the midwest who are not used to the kind of heat they've been getting this year. We see news reports every day of their crops withering and cattle suffering heat exhaustion.
Its really brutal out there this year.
