Redwood Run 2011

    Ok I just went to www.redwoodrun.com and this is what I found posted:

    2001chief et.al; Kiwanis of the Redwoods will be hosting the run for 2011. We are currently discussing weather to keep the venue at the Riverview Ranch, or move it back to the original French's Camp area. Dates should remain the same. Music signed on so far include Tommy Castro Band and The Kaye Bohler Blues Band. We should have a web site up shorly and more detail  come January. Thank You -

    The redwood run site usually does not update with new show info until Jan 2011. So hold tight.

    I don't know but I am hoping this is good news for the Redwood Run.. anyone else have any info?

    Here's the lastest info I just got this morning

    The Kiwanis of the Redwoods have been hard at work trying to decide on all of the details of having a run this year! We voted on Jan 12th, 2011 to have a run.   We don't have the location nailed down yet but we did vote on a name: The Original Kiwanis Redwood Run. The date of the run will be June 10th - 12th 2011.  When our website is up and running,  hopefully within the next 2 weeks, we will have the location and tickets available  to order through (paypal?) or one of those type of payments options, also tickets will be available locally. We will be selling weekend tickets as well as a one day ticket for Saturday, at the gate. 
    The Kiwanis of the Redwoods will be needing a lot of help to get this off the ground.  We sure appreciate any support anyone can offer, as we are just a small club of 30 or so people.  I am sure the rest of the Kiwanis family in our area will be working with us also. 
    We do meet once a week on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.  Please email back if you would like to come to a meeting.

    well the redwood run website says redwood run will return in 2012 WTF

    It sure does, says that they are going to make improvements to the ranch and could change the date! All this not long after they said they were going to have one in June! GRRRRR Lucky, you need to talk to someone about this!!

    So what ever we see on the rwr.net site is not pertaining to this years run!

    Venue looks good. WAY better than the Run 21 farm.

    Just so happens I will not be racing or interviewing that weekend. Must talk to hubby about going on this run. We've been trying to plan a ride there this year anyway.
