The Girls New Ride

  • November 26, 2010 1:25 PM PST
This is the granddaughters new ride for Christmas. Working lights, horn, sounds. Screams along at a blazin' 2-3 mph when batt is fully charged. She always wants on the real thing, so I thought I would get her her own.

She has a bit to go before she's 16, but I may find it a bit rough to say no when she wants to go to the real thing. As far as tats go, well, that will be totally up to her.

The closest I got was a peddle powered bicycle with a card flipping in the spokes and a soar throat from making a rumble.  That will keep somone busy with the charger and trying to prevent a refuel drive off..  Grandpa It Dont Go.!!!!!

I got my granddaughter a pink leather vest once. Her momma let me put it on her and get a picture sitting on my bike. The girl looked way cool. But she ain't never rode yet. That will have to wait some more years.

I'm with hgsc90 as kids we use to put baseball cards in our Bike spokes to make it sound cool. Little did we know thoses bent to shit baseball cards would have been worth big bucks today.

Couldn't afford baseball cards. We used the end cards and jokers from decks of playing cards.

I lived out in farm country, Ohio. 3 miles to town and no money for gum cards. Used cut strips of waxed milk cartons and plastic bottles. Hose clamped plastic strip would last for miles but when you would go for a field ride with full fender Huffy cruiser all accessories were removed..
