I know I am not the only one who has weird or unusual thoughts that pop in their heads while out for a putt, so lets start a new game.  Radom thoughts that have popped in my head:

1)I wonder where that road goes?

2) I love the smell of fresh mowed grass.

3) only my I Pod can go from Black Sabbath to Beethoven.

4) The sun feels great on my back.

5) the sun is hot on my back.  (sometimes these last two are seconds apart)

6) Did I close the garage door?

7) Did I lock the front door?

8) Why do they keep straightening my favorite roads?... : (

9) Why as someone who loves the curves, live in a land that is so flat and straight?

Back in early Jan of '73 I was returning from Christmas leave riding from Houston, Texas to Ft. Lee, Va. Going through Alabama I was paralleling a railroad track that was about 400 meters off the highway and I was slowly passing a really long freight train.

As I rode along Arlo Guthrie singing "City of New Orleans" popped into my head and to this day when riding on a long straight stretch ole Arlo is still singing in the background.

If I didn't have to pay off two Ex-wife's and the IRS I could be driving a Corvette instead of a Dodge!!!!!!!

I have a recurring ? thought while driving,what is it about riding that draws me in so completely and makes me feel at one with my surroundings,and why when I get off after a good long ride I feel both relieved and yet reluctant to leave the saddle?

Heck, my problem is the random thoughts unknowingly pop out. Like sitting at a light and a "fine piece of womanhood" walks by and she hears those thoughts.

Rex: that is a good one and I have come to a sliding stop to check a few out.

Rev: that is not random that is always on my mind but a thought that might and I think has keep me alive.

Blurplebuzz, I have always said that riding is my Zen, the only thing that truly gives me peace.

And for a few more:

If I was to keep going how soon before some one notice I never came home?

If only I could find someone to pay me to ride my motorcycles.

(on the New Old Girl) did I cancel the turn signal?

Just leave me alone....I'm riding my bike!

I experience seemingly off the wall, random thoughts all the time.
1. Did I lock the back door?
2. Did I turn the water heater temp down?
3. Does Mom and Dad know how happy I've become (RIP)?
4. Will our dog be alright in the kennel?
5. Zen? I can feel my Gypsy smiling and wishing this ride would last forever.
6. If only............

WHY do I still wanna HURT the dumbazz driver in front of me?
WHY do the red light's in FLORIDA seem like the longest dang things ... EVER?
WHY can't I give up diet coke, or smokes???

WHY is me havin' a beer after a hard day a SIN to so many ... OTHERS?

AND..why, DIGAF, about any of this? lol

 why is the throttle on the right?  Don't they know that most of us shoot right handed? Just kiddin', guys. Altho I used to practice doing that a bit, with a .22, when I was a kid. I hit a hedge apple, went down, fired 3 unintentional shots on the way down (.22 autoloader, safety is on the "wrong" side for left handed firing).  So that was the end of the "mounted" firing-practice.

Why can't I just ride?

Thinkin' wind therapy would be waaaaay cheaper. *(not that I can afford the other kind...either)

DebraJo: I have "summer roads" they follow rivers and streams to help keep the heat down. Right now most of them are flooded. And they are the few around here with curves..
