The good thing about a 50th birthday is it's the last time you'll receive "over the hill", "grim reaper" and such type birthday cards, after that they are considered cruel and in bad taste. :-)

HAPPY Birthday ;-) You know what they say? The first 50 years of our childhood are the hardest .....Its a piece of cake from here and time for more throttle and wind therapy.....I happen to know from personal experience, it just gets sweeter.

The "0" B-Days are always... about change. It becomes clear that you probably have more behind ya than in front... talkin years here, not body-parts. Seems to me that every day is a little more important that the one before. Some Native American tribes believe that one reaches 'Elder' status at 50. It is a comforting thought...
Next year is my 60th. Perhaps I will be wiser and more tolerant... perhaps not.
Congrats on reaching this milestone event and I hope that you had a great time and were surrounded by family and friends. After all... how else could you do a 'keg-stand' without a helping hand?

Happy belated birthday, 50 is just a number..I've been 50 for 5 years now, and still feel (attitude wise) the same way I did when I was 49...heres to many many more years in the wind.

50 is a nice round number. It was a great year for me. I lived thru a health crisis, my son graduated Valedictorian from High School, I was (@ that time) in love, and I was lookin' forward to an awesome walk with GOD.
And He has been the single source of all my happiness, with my son, my family, and my Christian friends, since.
All in all, I gotta tell you, you got a LOT to look forward to...
