Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Things are so much better than a month ago. She has lost over 20 lbs. and also has quit smoking since then. Her breathing is much better too. She is sleeping with a c pap and resting better. She still has to have a sonogram on her kidneys, but her last visit to the specialist showed no protein in her urine anymore. God does work miracles and I believe she has gotten one. This gal is my best buddy for 31 years, and I'm ready for 31 more. She has recently started riding my motorcycle with me and I haven't seen her light up like this in years.Jme,We too are caring for elderly parents and the stress is terrible. I believe riding has eased the stress on us both. Enjoying every second of her company. Tweek, don't you feel bad. There are a lot of posts and it's hard to keep up with them all. I treasure your prayers and your friendship. You are tops in my book. Shortie, thank you and your wife for the prayers and all you guys keep on praying. They are really working and I thank God for, and am praying for you all too. Love you guys, Markyd

Great news!    Glad too see your both back in the saddle. 

Thanks wheels. We rode 300 miles Saturday to Boone and around the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were whooped afterwards, but had a blast.

Lisa had a setback today. She had a stroke while working and also found out that she had some before and didn't know it. She has plaque in her artery to her brain, so they won't use surgery. Instead they are going to try therapy and meds to open it back up. She is alert and talking, though it's slurred. Also the left side is weak and her face is drooped on that side. But I believe in my God and whatever happens I know he's in control of the situation. So say another prayer for us as we try and get through this obstacle. She's one tough cookie and my best friend. Thanks buddy, it has been a long day. I've already been up 28 hrs. And all I've had to eat is a egg mc muffin since 7:30 am. Bedtime will be sweet tonight! God bless you my friend.
