A little over a month into the new year, the 2025 Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) Road Show is off to a fantastic start! As part of our mission to meet bikers across the county, MRF Board Members have been engaged in various events from coast to coast.
MRF Board Members have participated in several industry-related events, including the AIM Expo, Mecum Auction and a gathering of leaders of Independent Motorcycle Aftermarket groups, which all took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. We also made it to the Colorado Motorcycle Expo and Knoxville, Tennessee, for the NCOC Semi-Annual Meeting. The MRF also participated in lobbying days at the state capitol buildings in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Indiana, South Dakota and Kansas.
Additionally, in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois, MRF Representatives participated in annual state meetings with leaders and officers of state motorcyclist rights organizations. The MRF’s work with the Sturgis Museum in South Dakota also continued in 2025. There are also invitations to club events in Iowa and other critical states. Countless trips were made to Independent Motorcycle Aftermarket shops throughout the country, discussing issues that impact the entire motorcycling community.
Why do we do this? The best way for the MRF to be effective in Washington D.C. is by understanding what you, as bikers, are concerned about back home. When we know what you care about, we can deliver that message to the lawmakers in our nation’s capital. The MRF is a grassroots organization. Our strength comes from our membership, so what better way to grow that membership than by meeting bikers where they are?
We’ve hit almost a third of the states in the Union, and we’ve got more on the agenda! If you see an MRF Board Member on the road, say hi and thank them for their efforts to advance motorcycle rights in this country.
