  • THE AMG AND HARLAN KY TOURISM PRESENTS OUR 2ND ANNUAL BLOODY HARLAN GHOST RIDE! Kentucky's Haunted Fall Colors Ride!

Ride the Mountains by Day... Hunt Ghosts by Night!

Join the Appalachian Motorcycle Group and Harlan KY Tourism for one of the most unique motorcycle events in America as we combine breathtaking Appalachian fall colors, legendary mountain roads, haunted history, paranormal stories, and Appalachian folklore into one unforgettable adventure!

This is the final official AMG ride of the Kentucky riding season, and we're going out with a scream!

    THE DAY RIDE

We'll spend the day riding some of Eastern Kentucky's most scenic motorcycle routes, including:

    • Revenue Runner Highway 92
    • Joe C. Paul Medal of Honor Trail
    • Gateway 119 (McCoy Side)
    • Coal Train 421

Enjoy spectacular mountain overlooks, peak fall foliage, coal mining history, and some of the best riding anywhere in Appalachia before arriving in historic Downtown Harlan, Kentucky.

    THE NIGHT RIDE

After dinner, the adventure takes a darker turn...

We'll join local guides for a Haunted Harlan Ghost Tour, exploring the haunted history of the town known around the world as "Bloody Harlan."

Hear the stories behind the Coal Wars, visit reported paranormal locations, and discover why many believe the spirits of Harlan's past still walk its streets today.

Featured locations include the haunted Harlan County Courthouse, Sassy Trash, The Historic Harlan Courthouse, and other legendary downtown sites filled with Appalachian history and ghost stories.

THEN WE RIDE INTO THE DARK...

We'll leave downtown Harlan and travel one of the AMG's newest and most scenic routes:

    987 Waterside at Martins Fork

Beautiful waterside ride during the day...

    Mysterious after dark.

Martins Fork has become famous for reports of ghost sightings, Bigfoot encounters, unexplained lights, UFO activity, and local mountain legends. Along the way we'll stop at several locations where you'll hear the stories that have made this area one of Kentucky's most intriguing paranormal hotspots.
