Event Desc

  • Motorcycles played important roles in WW II. After the war, manufacturers resumed a focus on the civilian market. War veterans don’t always find it easy to re-integrate into civilian society, but motorcycles offered a sense of personal freedom and wider horizons, along with an adrenaline rush that some had become accustomed to while at war. Some American servicemen exposed to British bikes sought them out back home, including BSAs, Nortons, Triumphs, and Vincents. Come see fine examples of these wonderful freedom machines!
