On behalf of AMVETS Riders Chapter 26, I’m proud to announce our 1st Annual "Wheels For a Cure" Motorcycle Ride, taking place on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, at AMVETS Post 26 in Dover, Florida. This event will bring together riders, families, and supporters from all walks of life to raise critical funds for Alzheimer’s research.
We are reaching out to ask for your support to help us make a lasting impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s is a devastating and progressive brain disorder that robs individuals of their memory, independence, and dignity. More than 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s today, and that number is expected to more than double in the coming decades. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) provides vital resources to patients and families, while also funding groundbreaking research in pursuit of better treatments and—ultimately—a cure.
