Planned route includes minimal highway miles, healthy amounts of backroads, and a smattering of gravel and ATV trails leading toward the MN/WI border. After a lunch stop in Sturgeon Lake MN, the ride will find its way into the Nemadji Forest and southward to Danbury, Wisconsin. When the ride reaches this point there will be a stop to discuss the groups' pace and direction. From this discussion, there will be two options. Option A: Ride home via the quickest route towards Hinkley, MN (30 miles away, estimate arrival in Danbury at 3 pm), or Option B: continue a southerly loop towards Grantsburg and loop back up towards Webb Lake, Wisconsin (arriving in Webb Lake around 7 pm). If you are inclined to stay overnight, there is a post-event option to ride north 60 miles (amazing twisty roads) the following morning to the Delta Diner for breakfast, and independently return home Sunday.
