Event Desc

  • Every year tens of thousands of bikers gather in the town of Bridgeport Alabama to ride the Annual Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride. This is the 29th year the ride has been held and it is the largest organized motorcycle ride in the world. As many as 150k riders have participated in this event. And for the last 4 years a group of bikers has headed out from San Antonio, TX to participate in this ride. It is an important remembrance of the tragic story of the Trail of Tears where thousands of Native Americans were forcibly removed from their homelands and marched across country where many of them died due to exposure and harsh treatment. Please visit the website at https://trail-of-tears.webflow.io/ to learn all about this event in history and the ride that remembers it.

Each year a group of riders leaves from San Antonio, TX to participate in this ride. Information about this group, the route they take, and the experience of the ride can be found at https://trail-of-tears.webflow.io/the-ride/louis-hutton-memorial-ride. Information is also available through the link about how to join this ride.
