Event Desc

  • Our annual Poker Run will be held on Saturday, August 15th starting at 9 a.m.
The Poker Run has been renamed for our former CEO. It is now the “Tracy L. Taliaferro Memorial Poker Run.” As you know, Tracy loved riding bikes and the Poker Run was his favorite event!
With the assistance of the American Legion Riders of Post 146, we will hold our annual Poker Run with the following social distancing modifications:
*We will send riders out in small groups.
*There will be no inside visits at the facilities. You may ride around and grab a bottle of water but will not be permitted to go inside.
*Cards will be selected at the Legion Post 146 at the start and at Crater Community Hospice when finished.
*Lunch will be a sack lunch that the riders can take with them.
*We will announce best and worst hands, raffle tickets and 50/50 drawing winners virtually.
Please plan to join us! To pre-register use the following link: https://bit.ly/3fuCBlE
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure we have the correct number of lunches available.
Plan to join us on August 15th as we raise money for our in-home respite program! This allows the caregiver to take a much needed break and the patient to stay at home.
