Houston, Texas – A memorial honoring fallen bikers, a first of it’s kind in Texas, will soon be constructed by The Texas Biker Monument Foundation on the grounds of The Hawg Stop Bar and Grill. A memorial ride to the groundbreaking ceremony will occur on Saturday, February 9, 2019. The groundbreaking ceremony is to mark the beginning of the build for the Texas Biker Memorial project. The final outlay of the memorial will be exquisite and flowing with gorgeous flowers, adorned with personalized pavers, granite towers, benches, boulders, and brick walkways along with many other astonishing features.

The ride will begin at Buc-ee’s in Katy and end at The Hawg Stop Bar & Grill in East Houston, where the groundbreaking ceremony will occur. All are welcome to join the ceremony at the Hawg Stop regardless of participation in the ride.

Onsite registration to ride is $20 per bike, or $25 per bike with a passenger. It begins at Buc-ee’s, 27700 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77494 at 9:30 am. Ride begins with kick stands up at 11:00 am and should end approximately 12:00 pm at the Hawg Stop Bar and Grill, 11335 Sheldon Rd., Houston, TX 77044.
