  • The second annual Ride for Relief motorcycle charity ride will take place on Saturday, July 13th. The ride will be a 50+ mile tour of the scenic Slate Belt region, beginning and ending at the First United Methodist Church. The ride is raising money for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), and all funds will be allocated for United States disaster relief. Last year we raised nearly $1,000 and this year our goal is to double that!

On the day of the event registration will begin at 10:00 am with a hot breakfast including eggs, home fries and meat. Kickstands up at 11:00 with all riders touring in a pack. After the ride, bikers will each other's company outdoors with classic rock music provided by DJ Zazzy, games, and lunch - chicken, pork and potatoes... all included with registration!

Registration is $20 per rider and will be paid at the door. The purpose of pre-registering is to ensure that you get the properly sized T-Shirt (free with each registration) and to get an idea of how much food we are to prepare. Pre-register here: firstumcbangor.ticketleap.com/rideforrelief2/
