For the 2019 edition of The Modern Classics we’ll celebrate the fact that men walked on the moon 50 years ago. Woodstock was 50 years ago. And Muscle cars ruled the highways half a century ago. It was 1969 and if you were there then you remember tie dyed shirts, bell bottoms, peace marches and all the rest. As a motorcycle enthusiast you probably also remember the introduction of the ground breaking Honda CB750. 1969 brought us the first of the legendary Kawasaki “Widow Maker” two stroke triples in the form of the 500cc Mach III. And there was so very much more to remember about the moto universe in that memorable year. 50 years have gone by SO fast! For The Modern Classics 2019 we’ll transport you back in time with a representation of a 1969 motorcycle dealership – back in the day! We're going to hit the 1960s really hard, with special emphasis on the year 1969!

For that reason we are especially interested in finding examples of any 1969 model machines in addition to the usual mix of machines from 1960 through 1999. What have ya got?
