Event Desc

  • he Polar Bear Run is an annual event held on New Year’s Day. The event is sponsored by the Trinity Road Riders and is open to the general public and to all motorcyclists. 2019 will mark the 35th running of the Polar Bear Run.

The Polar Bear Run is a self-guided ride for individual riders or groups. The ride begins at Cycle Gear in SE Portland and ends at Jimmy O’s Pizzeria in Oregon City. Each year, the road captains of Trinity Road Riders design unique ride routes. You can choose to ride 1 of 3 rides.

Some of the proceeds of the Polar Bear Run are given to Missionary Ventures. This international organization partners with the Christian Motorcycle Association to purchase motorcycles for pastors in foreign counties (such as Nicaragua, Guatemala, etc.) all over the world.
