  • Fellowship Hall Partners with Riding High Harley Davidson to Launch Ride4Recovery,
A Motorcycle Ride Benefiting the Partner Scholarship Program

August 21, 2018, Greensboro, NC — Fellowship Hall, Inc., will host the first annual RIDE 4
RECOVERY, an event for motorcycle enthusiasts on Saturday, September 22, 2018 to benefit Fellowship Hall’s Partner Scholarship Program to provide substance use treatment for those in need. Bikers will gather at Fellowship Hall, 5140 Dunstan Road in Greensboro and follow a scenic route through the countryside ending at Riding High Harley Davidson, sponsor of the event, at 3036 NC-68, High Point.

“We’re happy to support Fellowship Hall’s mission of saving more lives from alcohol and drug abuse and are truly excited to be a part of this inaugural ride,” said Rick Johnson with Riding High Harley Davidson.

Rider registration is $25 and includes lunch; passenger registration is $5. Riders may register online at www.FellowshipHall.com/Ride or at the event. Ride-up registration opens at 9am on event day with kickstands up at 10am. The route will take riders on a 51-mile route through the Guilford County countryside.

The Partner Scholarship Program provides scholarships to Fellowship Hall’s Primary Program for individuals referred from partnering agencies. These individuals lack insurance or financial resources to cover treatment, but with the Scholarship would receive a comprehensive 24-hour residential treatment lasting three to six weeks in a safe, supportive environment. Scholarships, provided through fundraising, cover the cost of treatment while partnering agencies agree to a continuum of care for the individual through their organization upon discharge from Fellowship Hall. Initial partnering organizations are Caring Services, Inc. in High Point, NC, and Residential Treatment Services of Alamance (RTSA) in Burlington, NC.

“Those of us who “ride free” know that in recovery this takes on a whole new meaning! We hope the Ride 4 Recovery will help Fellowship Hall help someone else ‘ride free’ from their addiction as well!” said Mike Yow, a licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with over 30 years of experience in the Substance abuse field, who serves as President and CEO of Fellowship Hall.
