  • The Rescue Mission of Utica is excited to present R.O.A.M: “Riders on a Mission” 2018. For the first time in over ten years we are hosting a ride event! R.O.A.M.2018 will take place September 8, 2018, starting at Harley-Davidson of Utica, 4870 Commercial Dr, New York Mills. The registration fee is $30 per driver and $15 per passenger. Registration with complimentary coffee and donuts will be from 9:30 to 10:30, with kickstands up at 11:00am. The course will take you from Harley- Davidson of Utica to Route 8 in New Hartford and then to Route 20 in Bridgewater and Route 12 in Sangerfield, ending at the New Hartford Town Park (Sherrill Brook Park).
We invite you to join us in this event which will raise funds to help feed, clothe, and provide shelter to the homeless and hungry in the Mohawk Valley. In 2017 alone, we were blessed to serve over 154,000 meals, provide over 18,400 nights of care to men and women in our Enriched Living Center, and more than 15,500 nights of care through our Emergency Shelter. With your help we can continue with these ministries that bless so many throughout our community.
To welcome all the riders back at the park we will host a Family Fun Festival beginning at noon. There will be a complimentary chicken barbecue dinner for drivers, raffles, horse shoes, face painting, children’s games and other family oriented activities. This is open to the public, we ask you to spread the word and invite your families and friends to attend.
