This Poker Run supports the fundraising efforts of the Morgantown High School Band's Trip to Pearl Harbor to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The band has been selected to represent the state of WV and honor all who served on the USS West Virginia that was sunk on that fateful day - December 7, 1941. We are hoping every motorcycle enthusiast, their friends and family all show up to support this monumental opportunity for these young West Virginians. Veterans and active military will be honored and motorcycles will lead the run from the National Guard Readiness Center after members of the Morgantown High School Band plays the Star Bangled Banner. All WV legal vehicles are welcome and there will be a contest for best-decorated bike and vehicle, cutest bike couple, and the most number of people in a vehicle. $500 cash will be awarded for best hand, 2nd best hand will be given a $250 gift certificate to Triple S Harley Davidson; $100 prize for 3rd best hand and of course a second chance drawing for all the remaining hands. There will also be concessions, 50/50 drawings, raffle baskets, corn hole board raffles in addition to musical entertainment provided by the group Songs against Humanity from 4-7 pm at Schmitt's.
