  • This will be a motorcycle ride around Cayuga Lake in memory of United States Marine Cpl. Christopher Bordoni. All riders are welcome. All proceeds will be donated in Cpl. Bordoni's name to the Saratoga WarHorse Foundation & the Ithaca Police Department K9 Unit.

    US Marine Cpl Christopher Bordoni died April 3, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained January 18, 2012 in Kajaki, Afghanistan. Cpl Bordoni was a 2008 graduate of Ithaca High School. He was a Riflemen attached to the 1st Battalion 6th Marines Regiment, and served two tours in Afghanistan between 2009 and 2012. Cpl Bordoni received the Leatherneck Award for High Shooter in Boot Camp, four Expert Marksmanship Badges, the Purple Heart, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Valor.

    Registration will be held from 10:00am-11:40am, 11:45am a short briefing, KSU at Noon SHARP.

    The ride will be escorted around Cayuga Lake, and will end at the Eagles 161 Cecil Malone Drive, Ithaca, NY.

    The cost is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.

    Free Benefit pin to the first 200 registrants.

    Each rider will be given a raffle ticket at registration. At the conclusion of the ride a drawing will be held: 1st place = $500, 2nd place = $250, and 3rd place = $100. Door Prizes and 50/50 Raffle
