  • Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan gave his life while defending his country on Thursday July 16, 2015 during an terrorist attack on a Naval Reserve Center in Chattanooga, TN.

    The GySgt Thomas Sullivan Memorial Motorcycle Ride will start and end at Smith and Wesson. This ride is in conjunction with S&W's yearly Celebration of Hero's, Veteran Appreciation Day. Ride registration will be 0800hrs-0930hrs, the ride will start at 0930hrs. The ride will be approximately 50 miles through Western Mass. Upon returning to S&W. Riders are welcome to partake with the day’s festivities, which will include Music, Food Trucks, Beer Garden and various other vendors. There will also be various activities for the families to enjoy if they choose not to participate in the ride. As of right now the ride is FREE, however we will ask for donations after the ride. ALL funds raised will be split between the following organizations: GySgt Thomas Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund, Springfield Vet Center and Friends of Ward 8. We hope many come out to support our veterans and honor GySgt Sullivan and the Sullivan Family.
