The Dallas Hunger Run will be held at Renegade Cycles, 4633 Gus Thomasson Rd in Mesquite.
We have put together a bad ass menu. Your choice of brisket plate, brisket sandwich, pulled pork plate or pulled pork sandwich. Throw in some baked beans, pickle and jalapeño pepper, what else could you ask for. How about FREE BEER. Yep we will have FREE beer while it lasts. And yes it is smoked local and we will have homemade coleslaw. Grab you a plate for only $6.00. If BBQ isn't your thing we will have street tacos with your choice of ground beef, brisket or pulled pork and homemade salsa. A plate of 3 for only $6.00 with choice of meats. Also we will have DJ music, 50/50, Door Prizes and more. Did I mention FREE Beer while it lasts.
We will have donation sacks for sale. Every bag sold will feed 2 more people. This is a great opportunity if you can't make it to the run, but still want help feed a few people.
Each sack will have a post card on it with the name of the donor. Just let us know what name you want on the card. Businesses are encouraged to include their name.
On the 27th a group of us will meet at Craddock Lumber, 5422 Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas to help feed people in need. 150 to 200 people on average are feed there each Sunday. If you would like to help we would love to have you.
