Event Desc

  • The 4TH Annual Heroes Ride is a FULLY ESCORTED RIDE, kicking off from the world famous Hollywood Bowl, traveling through some of the most scenic and memorable sites in Los Angeles, with a finish line party at the historic Sheriff's training academy at the Biscailuz Center.

The scenic Hollywood Bowl starting location registration begins at 8am, including coffee & snacks. With introductions and speeches by numerous dignitaries, the ceremony is capped off with an honor guard and presentation of colors followed by a somber bell ringing recognition service, recognizing fallen officers.

Kickstands up at 10am, the ride winds through Hollywood Blvd, The Sunset Strip and West L.A., with a memorable stop at the Los Angeles Veterans Memorial cemetery for a ceremony to recognize and remember our veterans.

From there, enjoy a leisurely escorted ride to our featured destination, The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Biscaluiz Regional Training Academy facility, where we will enjoy a catered lunch, music, dozens of vendors, exhibits and activities.

Presented by the Professional Peace Officers Association in association with the Star and Shield Charitable Foundation, the Annual Heroes Ride benefits the families of fallen officers as well as Veterans organizations. More info and registration at www.heroesride.org
