Event Desc

  • An entry fee donation of $5.00 per bike or vehicle will be collected at the gate. All gate proceeds from this charitable event will benefit Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and Barnabas Ministries’ Barnabas House Project.

The purpose: A gathering to start the 2015 riding season with a blessing for the riders to have a safe year, to promote a sense of community and fellowship among riders and to support local charities.

Hundreds of motorcyclists and non-motorcyclists attend the blessing. The event features live classic rock music by Mad Mojo and a silent auction which makes this event interesting for all attendees. Food vendors are on-site and merchandise vendors are invited to sell leather goods, t-shirts, jewelry and other “biker stuff”. We invite a local car club to show off their rides, providing widespread audience appeal.

We encourage all bikes that are “classics” and “customs” to pay a $10 entry fee to enter their motorcycle for a chance to win the “Bikers Choice” and Best Vintage Bike (25 years or older). Winners receive a trophy and cash prize (sponsored by BMW Motorcycles and Macatawa Auto & Finance). Look for the directional signs when you enter and park in this “VIP” section. And don’t forget to cast your ballot by 2:15.

Directions: Take I-196 west to exit 55, go right and follow Bus 196 Chicago Drive to north US 31. Exit first exit onto Lakewood Blvd. Go right. Follow the signs to the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, 1286 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland.
