Event Desc

  • The objective of the Einherjar (pronounced “ein‐er‐yar”) Rally is to combat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by bringing our warriors, their families, and the entire community together to celebrate their exploits, sacrifices, and character, to lift them up for who they are and what they have done for us. This is not a time of mourning, but of rambunctious revelry. The theme of this event mirrors the celebration of the Viking warriors in Valhalla (Viking Paradise).

In Norse mythology, the Einherjar (Old Norse "single (or once) fighters") are those that have died in battle and are brought to Valhalla by Valkyries. In Valhalla, the Einherjar eat their fill of the nightly‐resurrecting beast Sæhrímnir, and are brought their fill of mead (from the udder of the goat Heiðrún) by Valkyries. The Einherjar prepare daily for the events of Ragnarök, when they will advance for an immense battle at the field of Vígríðr.

Our veterans are not alone, and should never mourn who they are or their great deeds. Presented and hosted by Roxtar Consulting and Grove’s Harley-Davidson, this legendary event will include:

    Live Music
    Police‐escorted Group Motorcycle Ride
    Project 22 Movie Screening
    Q&A Session with the film’s Directors/Stars
Members of the International Bikini Team
    Redskins Cheerleaders
    Jefferson County Honor Guard
    Children's Entertainment
    Beer Tent
    and so much more!
