In honor of veterans and the commissioning of the USS Detroit LCS-7 in Spring 2016, Registration is at VVA9 in Detroit from 7:30-9:15, with refreshments; Opening ceremonies with posting of colors and National Anthem at 9:15am; ride begins at 9:30am. Destination is beautiful Marine City where the community is primed and waiting with special events and offers! Gasoline Gypsies and Maggie Cocco Bands will perform from 11:30am-2pm, the Grayfox Sea Cadet training ship, moored on the St. Clair River will offer tours, an 18-foot scale replica of the Titanic and other great ships, trains, and artifacts, will be on display at the Mariner Museum (discounted admission), goodie bag with official T-shirt, and more! $20 with second rider free. Proceeds go to support the U.S. Sea Services.
