Event Desc

  • Join us for our Annual Remembering Our Heroes Memorial Motorcycle Ride to benefit the 6th Cavalry Memorial Garden. This year the ride starts at the 6th Cavalry Museum and winds through beautiful North Georgia to the Chattanooga National Cemetery where riders can pay their respects and then on to Thunder Creek Harley-Davidson for post-ride food and door prizes.

The day begins at 10:00 am with a church service which will include a blessing of the bikes and a memorial service for Captain Anne M. Montgomery, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Frank A. Buoniconti III, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Shan J. Satterfield and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Lucas D. Sigfrid. All four were members of the 4th Squadron, 6th Attack Reconnaissance Squadron, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington and died December 12, 2011, during helicopter training exercise. A tablet honoring these soldiers will be placed in the 6th Cavalry Memorial Garden.

Registration for the ride begins at 11:00 a.m. Cost to ride is $20 per bike.
