Benefit run to raise funds for the non-profit Aseltine School – a unique and important resource for some of San Diego County’s most underserved young people. Since 1968, Aseltine has served “at-risk” youth with severe emotional disturbances and learning disabilities whose needs cannot be met in the public schools. We work with students in a partnership based on mutual respect and understanding to empower them as active participants in their own lives. At Aseltine, we give these vulnerable children the knowledge and skills they need to gain confidence and a sense of self worth, then challenge them to grow intellectually, ethically and emotionally beyond what they and others once thought possible.

The Julian Cider Run offers motorcycle riders a scenic trip on the way to a fun day at a private home in Julian – where they will enjoy live music, a BBQ lunch, hard and soft cider samples and Julian apple pie. There will also be an Opportunity Drawing with many great prizes donated by local businesses and community members. At Sweetwater Harley-Davidson, riders will receive a continental breakfast and gifts before starting on the ride. All motorcycles are welcome, as are guests who arrive by car, truck, moped, or any other form of transportation to this family friendly event.
