Special recognition honoring our Military Heroes from World War II, Korea and Vietnam is scheduled for

March 28th, 2015 from 11:30pm- 3:30pm held offsite at Rural King lot located at 1715 N Citrus Blvd, (Hwy 441) Leesburg, FL.
AMVETS Post 2006 Commander Trombley of Leesburg FL, extends an invitation to “everyone” and all Veterans, Military and their families, the public and supporters to this special “Veterans Tribute” to honor our oldest living Heroes!

AMVETS Post 2006 Post Commander is asking for Veterans of World War II, Korea or Vietnam, to make plans to attend the event for this special recognition. This event is open to the public and there is no admission.

He also said event plans are under way and will feature a special recognition from our Community leaders and State representatives. Activities will include the famous Schneider “Ride of Pride truck”, Lake County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard and K-9 unit, Leesburg Fire Dept, One Blood.org van, mobile VA benefit truck from Disabled American Veterans, American Red Cross, ROTC, 4-H Club, Girls and Boys Scouts, martial art demonstration, live music by Powerplay, The awesome Village Cheerleaders, several raffles, club challenge, vendors, Tribute event t shirts, with great food and beverages all day.
