    OK this is as simple as it gets.................How in the Sam Hill do you get the body salt stain off of a hat band?

    One part vinegar, three parts water. Soak the affected area. Pat/squeeze dry. Let air dry. Use stiff brush to "sweep" away the stains. OR use commercial felt cleaner from any reputable "hat" dealer. Personally, I'd save the $20.

    It's a straw Campaign Hat.......or in the deep south it's called........You in a heap of trouble "BOY" hat !!!!

    Have you figured it out yet? I had a 10x Resistoll cowboy hat and I sweated it up good in the hot Texas sun. I took it to a Arizona Hatters shop and they fixed it up good. Don't know if they are still around but you could ask at a few places that sell felt and straw hats. Hope that helps.
