Do you have a Ding-A-Ling or a Hooter???

    OK now that I have your attention...

    This could be a poll but it is to funny so it goes in here.

    All of my bikes have had a ding-a-ling. Since 1992, they have also had a hooter. A very special hooter at that. Some day I will tell the story about just how special The hooter is. Actually my ding-a-ling is special too.

    I have a Ding-A-Ling too, but mine hangs much lower.  Almost drags on the street

     

    (it's tied to the lower front motor mount)

    Ouch!! You can let it drag on the street.
    I have seen many mounted low but I decided to put mine on the mirror so I can play with it while I ride.
    The bell came from my step fathers horse collar bridle stuff. Believe it or not he was a milkman from the forties until he retired in the late seventies. When they changed over from horses to trucks he took the bells. I discovered them in his attic after he died. This one first was mounted on my Bonneville and has been with me ever since.

    Have two ding-a-lings and no hooter. When I got my first bike an older friend gave me a ride bell and told me to never ride without it. Said it would keep me safe, and so far it has. He passed away a few years back, so now I ride with his bell right next to mine.

    I tattooed a 'person' that had hooters AND a ding-a-ling!!!

     

    I'm sure his/her mom is very proud

    My ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling, I want to play with my ding-a-ling...

    Actually, the ding-a-ling is on my bike and my Hooters rides on her own bike, but she has her own ding-a-ling of her own.

    Now I'm confused!
