Nice dog/wolf.
I have 2 female Black Labs from the same litter they turned 3 last December.
This is the second time I've had 2 female litter mates.
A long time ago I was told Labs didn't make good watch dogs, bull s**t!
They are good judges of people as well.

My son had a wolf dog(98%) realy good animal, best of luck with the Terminator, you can't beat the Paws of the law.

Noble looking beast.
Take some advice from an old man and:
- Invest whatever time & money necessary to train him up to have a job - sniffing drugs, carrying a pack, fetching tools - whatever
- Consider changing his name from "Terminator" to something like "Tippi" - With your job sooner or later he is going to chomp somebody & you are going to end up in court. - W/ a name like "Terminator" any respectable lawyer (an oxymoron"will make the claim that you knew he was dangerous
On another note here is something for you cat people.

Sorry to hear about Jesse; that is very hard not to know where she is. As far as Terminator, from what i have heard wolf/dog mixes are very difficult to train. I have never worked with one though, so i don't know.
I have GS's. i work one with Ring Sport. Tons of fun.

Here's my guy... had some wood delivered in the fall, and he wanted to help!

We had a wolf mix when I was growing up. He was very protective and would grab the first kids hand coming off the bus and lead them to the front door of our house. If you tried to pull away he would put pressure so you didn't get a way. All he was concerned about was you got home, after that we would run and play where ever we wanted. I got smart and pushed my sister or brothers out the bus first. When BigBoy lead them home I ran the other direction. Great dog. He was alway scared to death of lightening to the point he would rip the nails from his paws trying to get in (or out) the door in a storm. As fate would have it, he got electricuted by lightning and passed.
I've since took a liking to big dogs (little dogs always bite me) and bred Akitas for 13 years.

Awesome! And don't let anyone tell you that you're not a real Cop. If you are paid to keep the peace... there ya go! My hat's off to ya. I am certain that your partner won't know the difference, nor will the little tweaker that he bites into
