So here we are dealing with another snow storm trying to figure out where to put all the stuff but looks like our aussie brothers and sisters are getting hammered with another big storm with high winds and flooding. Doesn't seem so bad outside my place today.    GOOD LUCK  BOOF AND FRIENDS

Mother Nature is a bitchy mistress - Keep food up hi in the larder, a canoe in the rafters, skiis in the shed, snow shoes in the job box of the truck - You are never going to best her so ride her

Hell it is even cold her in Galveston, not expected to go much above freezing today. Dry but cold with snow predicted for Houston. But considering what everyone else is dealing with I am blessed.

Gday All..Well this bloody whopper cyclone has crossed the coast..Fortunately its crossed in a rural area not as heavily populated..This storm was as powerful as Katrina and about 4 times the size..Its still a category 3 100 miles inland and making its way west..Looks like the damage aint as bloody bad as it could have been..Now the flooding is about to start again as there is a storm surge and about 3 foot of rain to come with it..Marni and I are cool as is Marni's family...Thanx you mob for your concern. As always We will pick ourselves up dust ourselves off have a beer or 20 and access the job ahead..CHEERS BOOF

You have a great outlook Boof, glad you and yours are going to make it thru without a scratch. Guess it wouldn't be a great time to mention that it is sunny and about 60degrees here today...

We hit almost 70 today, but windy. The temp is supposed to bottom out tonight again. Just mother nature teasing us again, just before she slam-dunks us!!!

60s and 70s are only fond memories, after the last storm the ended today. I have snow banks close to 5ft there no more room to put the stuff. The fear now is when it melts. its pack around everything. I’ve stopped looking at the thermometer as nothing has melted in a week.

Boof, hang in there as you are doing, I’ll salute you with quanity of JD tonight after the last shovel of snow.

For those in the 60s and 70s on your next ride just think of your fellow bother and sisters either surrounded by water or covered in snow and send a little riding thought there way.

Enjoy life, you only get one.

Glad to hear on the news that the human casualties have been very few - but the devastation caused by the cyclone will take a long time to sort

Good to hear you're safe Boof (o:
