It's just me but since the engine is blacked out I would continue it into the paint. But in the end it your choice.

Try one of the denim colors, my 08 is blue denim and ill never buy a shiny harley again. Cleaning the bike takes half as much time.

I think you should paint it pink. You know... get in touch with your emotional and feminine side.  Maybe add some purple flames with black accents.

    All jokeing aside,
    1. What is your Favorite Color?
    2. Would you put your favorite color on your bike?
    3. Dont forget who is riding on the bike?
    4. Who is doing the Paint?
    5. And how much are they going to charge if you cant do what you want to it?
    6. Do you really want to change the paint?
    7. Would you want Floresent, Gloss or Flat?
    8. Are you doing to Layer it or Make it all look the same (color)?
    9. Finally Are you also going to paint the Frame and some parts here and there to match it or just the main tins and fin?

Just my thought on it but I dont have my bike yet so I have time to think about what I want to do.

Good Luck!  And have fun with it!
Me Personally,  I would go with Black with Red or Blue Ghost Flames.

******Don't forget who is riding on the bike?  Does this mean that it really matters what the back seat rider thinks about my bike???   LOL

    Does black pearl count?

I don't think I've ever owned a bike that wasn't black, or had black as the primary color.  But the bike I have now is black pearl and I really like that, too...

Yeah Wolfpack, Black Pearl is good, and Rockbottom, what do you do for a job, I thought those yellow bikes were reserved for school bus drivers...

I do like that black pearl, but I am kind of partial to Gunmetal Blue, like the anniversary color.

Man hum, you've got that aztech orange, ugh they tried to sell me one of them bikes I had to say no, redhair orange bike, just ugly going down the street together.
If you like the orange cause you don't see to many of them and will know your bike in a crowd that way, why not just go with some graphics? use Black and maybe something really funky to highlight like green or rich purple. Do a tribal celtic like design, celtic knot work, Or do the funky metalic drop paint, or shades of black real flames with lowlights of rich purple, and highlights of green, go way different then the norm paint. It will continue to stick out from the crowd ya know. have a great one! "T"
