age don't matter, they'll always be your kids. My daughter (25) is leaving Ireland for a few years in September, she works in mental care and the move is to further her career....now I understand why my parents were worried when as a young 16yr old full of piss and vinegar I struck off into the world which I knew I could, and would, conquer.
My son (23) will be following the path I beat into the oil/gas industry worldwide, thank God he has the lessons which I had to discover along the way.
One lesson I always give Roisin and Kieran is " you don't have to win....just make sure you don't lose"
savour them while you have them, soon they will be gone, and when they return, you may be gone.
