They and their family will be in my thoughts. It’s tough when the riders are killed for no actions of their own other than going for a ride.

This story angers me on so many levels..... I'll just leave it go and pray for the families... these were needless deaths. May God kiss away the tears that time cannot erase.

I'm not going to say anything. I've already voiced my thoughts when that driver in Arizona SLAUGHTERED those riders! My prayers are with the VICTIMS families!

I'm rolling with Sarge on this one.....I give up being pissed, doesn't help the sitution and only makes me angry at the world. My prayers will go out to the family's of those brothers and sisters.

Just an update..21 year old driver of the pickup that killed our Bros tested positive for alcohol. There is a memorial event being planned and I will give any info to Rextheroaddog so he can put it up here. Here's a pic of a bunch of them given to me to use with packages they sponsored for my campaign..M/C Mags For Military.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families. Even sadder is that the driver will most likely get a slap on the wrist...better leave that alone, as I have to agree with nightdragon on that.

"Anyone wanting to donate towards a memorial monument can do so here: Veterans PTSD Foundation-Glenwood State Bank-32 N. Walnut-Glenwood, IA 51534"

M/C Mags will be at the funeral and dedication handing out support ribbons. Chose the colors for Loss of a Brother..seemed most fitting

     This added by CF admin...

Services for Dennis Chaney, one of the riders.

The funeral for Dennis Chaney is set for Saturday 14 August at 10am. The location is Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Legion Riders will escort from the mortuary to the Legion hall for lunch and then will escort to the Villisca cemetery. I need all Legion Riders who can escort to please respond to this e-mail. Also, I plan on meeting George Peterson sometime tomorrow at Hwy 6 & I-29 to escort Denny’s body home.
