My record (on big comfy Rex) is 662 in 12+ hours from Tallahasse, Fla to near Tyler, Texas. All interstate, hot and high humidity. I was so beat I fell asleep eating my sandwich in the motel room. So 1000 is a major achievement.

I did 760 miles in 13 hrs for a run ahead of weather. All 4 lane and gas-n-go. Only made one mistake. Bottle of Coke with pop up open top from a water bottle. Handle bar carrier on left side made it handy but shaking made a mess...pressure opened pop up top and coke went all over me and everything else. Next stop car wash for everything and me. Temp was 96. I' will stick with water from now on..

Great job! I did 850 last month from Orlando to Fredericksburg, VA.. There are times when a ride like that is necessary to put everyday life on the back-burner.

The longest Deener and I have done in one day is 835 miles in 17 hours from Buckley Wa to San Lorenzo Ca and then 3 days later 839 miles back.... That was the trip that started "The Adventures of Joey"

That was some riding. I going to use that for some motivation on one of my riding buddies next time he start wigging half way through one of my day rides of 300+ miles. A mere walk in the park compared to yours.
