hard turn over

    my '06 sporty 1200 cranks like the battery is dead. it will give a couple good, hard turns then hardly turn at all. I've replaced the battery & kept it charged. Lights are bright. Would this be a starter problem? Any ideas? Thanks for any help

    Yes, it could ceratinly be a starter problem and most likely is.

     

    However before you buy a starter I would remove, clean and reconnect all electrical connections for the starter.

    Pretty much what Lucky said. Also I'm not sure but there might be a starter relay (not to be confused with the solenoir).
