bags on my bike are a raw/rough leather. almost like suede, but actual leather. dyed them darker once before to somewhat match my seat  & used Mcguires leather protectant. didn't take long (3-4 local rides)  to fade out & now are lighter than original. i've re-dyed them, but really don't want to make this a habit. any way to seal in the color without making the leather all smooth and shiny? thanks for any help a whhoooollle bunch!
