Gday Yall. I need some advise from you mob on windscreens for my 13 Streetglide. The stock one leaves me feeling like FOO peeping over the fence only with 60mph breeze in the face. I bought a Memphis shades 6.5 inch spoiler screen which keeps the wind off but is friggin scarey in a cross wind or when passing trucks. You mob have been riding baggers over that way since moby dick was a tadpole and prolly know all the right shit. Im 6 foot and have a large head. I need a screen that is gonna keep the wind off my fore mentioned large head and not try to kill me in variant wind /traffic conditions. Rightio hit me with what you mob do. CHEERS BOOF. Oh yeah when i say trucks i mean semi's not utes..

I am wondering how much of that scary part is actually the fairing. Wish I had an answer. Rex is a King thus no fairing and I have always used a shortened screen so that I comfortably look over the screen when sitting easy. You probably already check these CF vendors but in case not here is a link. I bet they could give some advise.

You know Mate I have got to agree with Mike that some of that problem with the cross wind may be coming from the fairing and less from the windscreen.

I would check with Long Ride Shields - http://www.longrideshields.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1823 style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128);"> they have a lot of styles for your bike.  You can also give the a call or email... they are really good people and sure they could help you out.

Boof, I agree with Lucky and Mike about the fairing being part of the( dirty air) Turbulance problem near trucks or heavy cross winds. I definitely feel the difference when riding the Softail vs the Ultra,I am almost 6'2 and use a 10 inch shield on the ultra only because I dont want to be looking at the edge of the shield its 1 or 2 inches shorter than they recommended, I just ordered a new 10" recurve design from Long Ride Shields hoping it creates a bigger air pocket and maybe a little more downforce on the front end, anyway check out their websight they are having a 60% off sale right now.
    Good Luck
