This is for my Brother, Michael James Moore,  who died today @ age 57.

    IN MEMORY OF ME

We had good times together, and bad times, there were few.
But I have to leave you now, and I don't want you to be blue.

Remember our times together, and all the things we shared.
Remember the things I gave you, to show how much I cared.
Remember how much I love you...
    Remember and be glad.
Because I never want you to...
    Remember, and be sad.

Mike, never fully recovered from his brain aneurysm in 2003.
And then, he was betrayed in the worst way.

He never recovered from that, as it cost him his family,
thru NO FAULT of his own.

And then, he was dealt the "final" blow, being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.
Depression, took it's toll.  And the "pain-killer's" my brother reached for...did the rest.
I can only PRAY, he is finally at rest.

Please pray soul peace for his children (he has five), for me, (he has always been my best friend)
and that we can all praise GOD in this storm.  IT IS, this family's ONLY HOPE.

Just got back from Texas, last night.  And while I'm still reeling from this whole thing, I am at peace for my brother.  God is equipping Heaven, to get ready for the rest of us.  And He only puts the finest on the welcoming committee.

My brother, who was a "lifer" in the Navy until he was disabled, always had the "sunny" disposition, I could only marvel at.  And everyone, who spoke at his funeral had a funny story to share, and a grateful attitude for having met him.  Now that, is a tribute!!!

He had a military honors funeral, at the Dallas/Ft.Worth National Cemetery.  Honor Guard, 21-gun Salute, and Taps.
We were also honored to have the North Texas PGR, stand a flag-line.  11 members showed up, on a very FRIGID Texas moring, and did what they do best!  They were so sweet, and offered me an honorary membership with them.  I do as many PGR missions as I can, and I'm going to make it more of a priority.  I'd rather ride, but in lieu of that, I can still honor our military by just showing support.

    Thanks NT-PGR!!!  Semper GUMBY!!!

Tho, this had been a hard thing, burying my brother, it was also, one of the proudest moments, I've ever had.

Thanks, ALL, for your kind words of support, and the prayers. I am at peace.
I can also tell you, I will NEVER fly on a jet-plane again....

Sheesh. I washed out because of motion sickness. And it's only gotten worse.
    I don't recommend boarding a plane if it's been 40 years....
They got a bunch faster at makin' me sick, and TERRIFIED.

I'm home. I'm good. Thank you, Jesus!!!

     UPDATE!!!

It's been a tough road, this last 8 months. I've gone toe-to-toe with deep depression, AGAIN.
I know, God is with me, all the way, and I find SON-NY moments, where ever I can!

Last friday was one of them.
The NE TEXAS PGR gave me the greatest gift when they stood at my Brother's Funeral.
More so, when they gave me an Honerary Induction, onsight, to SEMPER GUMBY.
(that's what they call their PGR Riders)

Well...I PROUDLY wear the patches on my vest, and the vest chains they bestoyed upon
me, on that frigid January day.

But the one thing I lacked, and the one thing, I've searched for, to make the "ensemble"
    true...

    Was a GUMBY.

Semper Gumby's, all proudly wear one on their cuts, Ya see?

I finally got one, at of all places....my Credit Union.
See..."their flexible"...and Gumby is their mascot.

And after many MONTH'S of me hounding them, to give a good "member"
    in standing...a token,

When I walked in wearin' my cut, and they saw the SEMPER GUMBY PATCH?

They handed me a GUMBY.  No questions asked.  lol
    HOORAH!
