I told her to give it 5 years and she called me on it.  On New Year's Day 2015 Gypsy will officially be Mrs. Doc; 5 years to the day we first made our promise to one another in Panama City Beach Florida.

So how did it go ??????

For a bunch of backwoods characters it went great.  Carol's sister and her family came in from Milwaukee and honestly, I think they might have been a bit shocked at my crew.  LOL

Carol's son, David, performed the ceremony.  The grandkids then did their own rendition of "You Are My Sunshine"; as off key as anyone can imagine but still damn cute.

You know, we lost two friends this week; one on Tuesday and one on New Year's Eve.  Since nearly everyone in attendance were equally acquainted with them we had a special moment so that they might shine down on all of us.  It was a "misty" moment but David got us through.

Congratulations! Sounds like it was a great time and you guys are looking really good there.
