Newbie Saying Hi from NY/LI

    Hi All
    new to the forum just saying hello from NY/LI, ive been browsing the forum for some time now and have seen a ton a great questions and answers.  im looking for a bmw r25/26/27.  must be a running bike as I have no clue what im doing mechanically and love patina.  let me know if there is anything out there for sale.

    Hi NYCollector, I'm here on LI too ... I'll give you a word of advice, if you really know nothing mechanically you should avoid BMW's, they will empty your bank account!

    Seriously though, I know a guy in Ronkonkoma who specializes in them ... if you want to talk to him give me a shout and I'll get you his number/email address ... he's a really good guy.
