Installed aftermarket CB Radio on my 2014 Streetglide.  It does send and receive, but  friends tell me that there is static when I transmit, that may be engine noise.  I have checked antenna SWR and ground connection.  Power comes from tailight wiring as suggested by install instructions.  Has anyone else experienced the same problem, or is this something I need to live with?

Does it have the static problem when the bike is not running? If it don't then you know its part of the ignition system. I'm not sure but are your spark plugs the type that have resistors built into them? good luck
