Hi new to riding, I see bikes with the lights around the motor that come on at night.  They look cool but for me I would enjoy the thought of others seeing me at night !!  Question is are the legal in most states and are they hard to install or is it best to have them installed ?  And price ?    Thanks Mark in Illinois

I have two white led pods in my motor area - one up top in front and one up top in the rear.  They are there because they light up the chrome on the motor and make the bike very visible from the side.
